Things the Dog Ate
Nothing is safe in a house with a giant animal. The only way to keep things from Bucket is to hide them in the microwave. Since she arrived in our home last August, Bucket has consumed more than 300 400 lbs. of dog food, numerous approved treats and the following:
2 bars of Dove soap for sensitive skin + the plastic wrapping and cardboard boxes
1/2 a container of plumber’s putty
Various items from the garbage can—which is now kept in the closet
1/2 a can of See’s mixed nuts + lid
Some poop (hers)
Part of a dead bird
Numerous crackers as well as some cheese and salami (thanks dad)
Part of some thick 1970s Tupperware + the roasted pine nuts inside said Tupperware
A bunch of tomatoes (my fault: good intentions, terrible results)
An unidentified object from the garbage at Vector
A pack of Orbit gum
A tube of toothpaste
A wine stopper
